Priya and Aashil’s love has withstood the test of time and trust. Spending three years halfway across the world from each other, separated by the seven seas, isn’t easy but they did it! Cupid was looking out for them and aimed his arrow straight for their hearts, when ‘cute’ Aashil opened the door to Priya, at a party she was gate-crashing. Instant sparks flew and the connection was forged. It was further welded during a Halloween party after which they dated regularly without jumping too far ahead into what the future may hold. The dynamic duo went from strangers to friends then best friends to fiancé and finally, soulmates.

Event planners par excellence, the mother-in-laws worked in tandem to successfully pull off the wedding festivities in a quick short month! Owing to the uncertainty of the pandemic, the ceremony went from a small intimate wedding to a 3-day celebration then back to only a single day ceremony and finally a mere month before the big day, when the latest wave of the pandemic had settled its ugly head, they decided to throw caution to the wind and incredibly planned a big fat Indian wedding spanning almost a week.

Priya, Aashil and their families are genuinely lovely people at heart. Everyone was warmly welcomed as if they were family and also taken care of, as if they were best friends for life. It’s been said that when friends become family, you get the wedding of your dreams.

Aashil is Priya’s steadfast rock in the tempest of her life. He calms her, grounds her and is the guiding light when she is at the crossroads of life, while simultaneously bringing out the best in her. Aashil firmly believes that Priya’s spontaneous, outgoing, adventurous and fun-loving personality is what makes him yearn to be with her all the time. When his world turns topsy-turvy, she spins it around right-side up, making him feel better than ever. They are like two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle - different yet perfectly complimentary to each other. She is the yin to his yang, balancing each other in perfect harmony.
