TANISHA & DHAWAL

#Tanidha

They're a super cute couple. Got married in the lockdown, had a super intimiate 50 people affair at Blue Sea, Worli. It was a simple one day affair. No frills.

Tanisha is a very bubbly person, big sweet smile, the kind that makes you want to smile sub-consciously everytime you are talking to her.

Dhaval is a shy but very witty guy. Didn't like be being photographed and we literally had to fight with him to get some photos of his clicked.

A very cute moment that happened at the wedding was, the bride was running super late, the groom was already at the venue, baraat over everything, and the bride was still not ready.

She started panicking, and then they found out, her blouse wasn't ironed.

She yelled saying it's okay, there's no time now to send it to a dry cleaner. I'll wear it however it is.

The cute old father walked in, calm as a cucumber, and told her, 'don't be silly. You can't wear an unironed blouse on your wedding. Dhaval will wait, don't worry.'

2 mins later, he is back with a regular home iron (which he borrowed from the make up artist in the other room) and he sets out her trousseau on the couch right outside the living room and starts ironing everything himself.

Nobody said a word after that to ask him to hurry up. His presence itself just calmed everyones nerves! I thought it was very cute.

After that, another fun thing that happened at the wedding mandap was, the friends from both sides fought for half an hour over the jootis. They tugged and pulled so hard, that the jootis got fully ripped! Literally, it was in pieces.

So the best friend of Tanisha then went on stage and took Dhaval's glasses away, and refused to return them till he paid them (since jootis couldn't happen anymore)

Dhaval, is as blind as a bat, and without his glasses he sat through more than half the wedding seeing everything fully blurred. SO most of his photos from the wedding have him squinting because he couldn't see anything.
